On Monday, October 21, "The Voice" judge/mentor Cee-Lo Green showed up for his arraignment in a Los Angeles court where he pleaded not guilty to a felony drug charge for allegedly giving a woman ecstasy or MDMA during a 2012 dinner at an L.A. restaurant. Sexual assault charges filed along with the drug case were thrown out by prosecutors for lack of sufficient evidence.

Green allegedly slipped ecstasy in the drink of his 33-year-old female companion during a dinner that they had back in July last year at a restaurant in downtown L.A. The unnamed woman said she later woke up in bed with Green in her hotel room naked and with no memory of how she got there, with the Goodie Mob member claiming what happened between them that night was consensual.

"We are pleased that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has completed its investigation and concluded that the evidence did not support the false and unfounded claims made over a year ago," Green's lawyer Blair Berk said in a statement. "Mr. Green encouraged a full and complete investigation of those claims and he was confident once conducted he would be cleared of having any wrongful intent."

Green, who could face four years in jail if found guilty, is out on a $30,000 bail bond and will return for a November 20 court date.
