Selena Gomez has officially been added to the line-up of performers for the first Dubai Music Week, which is set to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday, September 27. The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer is set to join previously-announced headliners, will.i.am and Timbaland, who will both perform on Thursday, September 26.

"Selena Gomez is a great addition to the line-up for Dubai Music Week," Hamad Bin Mejren, executive director of business tourism at Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, confirmed Gomez's upcoming appearance. "The calibre of artists who are performing in the first Dubai Music Week is a testament to Dubai's position as the leading entertainment and music hub in the region."

Backed by legendary producer Quincy Jones, Dubai Music Week will run from September 24-29. The event will also act as a trade and industry showcase, as well as host major concerts for fans.

Gomez is currently on a tour to promote "Stars Dance", her first solo album that she dropped back in July. Debuted at the Billboard 200's No 1, the former Disney star's latest release has so far generated two singles, "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down".
