Ed Sheeran has sold out the tickets for his headlining show on November 1 at New York's Madison Square Garden gig. Impressively, the tickets, which went on sale on Friday, August 23, were all gone in only three minutes.

"So Madison square garden sold out in 3 minutes. Mental. Here's some more news...," the 22-year-old singer tweeted on August 23. He then excited fans again when announcing the second date of his show at the popular arena.

"I'm very happy to announce a 2nd date at MSG on October the 29th," he wrote again and added that the tickets would be on sale "after labor day."

The British gingerhead played his first Manhattan gig in early 2012 at the Mercury Lounge. "My dad always said you haven't made it 'til you've played Madison Square Garden so it's a massive honor," he recently said of his upcoming show at MSG.

Sheeran will appear in the fifth season of "The Voice" as an advisor for Christina Aguilera's team. Aguilera has spoken out about Sheeran joining her in the popular singing competition and expressed her desire to collaborate with the "Lego House" hitmaker.

"I see a collaboration in the works hopefully. I would love to collaborate with this guy - he's super talented," the former Disney star said.
