AceShowbiz - Rihanna's new album is reportedly planned to drop later this year. According to MTV Italy, the 25-year-old Barbadian singer's new album will be "worked on in the next few weeks" and completed soon so it can be released in November.

The news supports EDM producer Nicky Romero's statement that says he and Rihanna work on another collaboration. Romero, who joined Rihanna in a track called "Right Now", claimed that they teamed up again for a "smooth" track to be featured in the new album.

"I'm working on a song for Rihanna right now," said Romero. "Can't say too much yet... It's gonna be out of the box for me."

An official representative for Rihanna has yet to confirm or deny the information, but fans are expecting to see the album competing with Lady GaGa's "ARTPOP" and Katy Perry's "Prism".

Rihanna's new album will be her eight studio release. It will follow up her Platinum-certified 2012 album, "Unapologetic", which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
