Pop-rock star Avril Lavigne posted photos of herself on Twitter today. In the images, she's featured dressing in an army green corset top, heavily-buckled platform boots and an army helmet, and wearing strings of bullets around her torso and on her waist. The look was apparently for her forthcoming new music video "Rock N Roll", which started filming on Thursday, July 25 in Palmdale, California.

Bringing to life the animated character Tank Girl, known toughie Lavigne was in her element for the music video shoot for "Rock N Roll", the second single off her upcoming fifth studio album set to be released later this year. Lavigne's new hubby, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, co-wrote the Max Martin-produced track.

Lavigne went all out for her war-ready appearance, an attitude she first applied to her own wedding to Kroeger earlier this month in a French chateau. At the time, she threw an unconventionally-themed ceremony complete with black roses and a black Monique L'huillier gown. The "Sk8ter Boi" singer said, "I wanted it to be over the top" and "an experience of a lifetime for our guests."

Appearing in Lavigne's music video in a similarly cutting-edge but sexier ensemble is former "The Wonder Years" actress Danica McKellar. The now 37-year-old erstwhile teen star, who wore blue fishnet stockings with a tiny bra top and a red and black bottom, was looking like a sexy pirate as she played sidekick to Lavigne's main character.
