Leona Lewis was not the only female singer who passed the chance to sing Calvin Harris-produced smash hit "We Found Love". In an interview on Notion magazine, Nicole Scherzinger revealed she turned down an offer to provide vocals to the dance track.

"I passed on 'We Found Love'. I got the demo of that song and I was busy at the time," she said. "They'd sent me a few dance tracks and I wasn't able to get to them and I was like, 'Oh, there's so much dance and I want to take a break from it'. That was my fault. I slept on it."

She also spilled that she rejected "Crazy", a song which was later made famous by Gnarls Barkley. During her time on The Pussycat Dolls, she additionally missed the chance to rule the charts with the girls after saying no to "Just Dance" which later became Lady GaGa's breakout single.
