The 2012 American Country Awards on Monday, December 10 was highlighted by performances from some notable country musicians. One of them was Keith Urban, who sang "Crossroads" together with seven other musicians from the Grammy Foundation's music camp program.

Stage/screen actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, who hosted the show together with country superstar Trace Adkins, dished-out "What Would Dolly Do" meant as a tribute to country icon Dolly Parton. Chenoweth did not only deliver a fantastic job as host but she also gave a humorous tribute to Parton.

Meanwhile, the night's biggest winner, Luke Bryan, kicked-off the Monday night show with his rendition of "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye". That night, the 36-year-old country singer went home with nine gongs, including the much-coveted Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.

Trace Adkins, on the other hand, teamed up with American rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd for their interpretation of "What's Your Name". Finally, Lady Antebellum closed the show with their hit "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", which was very apt considering the upcoming holidays.

Other notable performances throughout the show were presented by Dierks Bentley ("Country and Cold Cans"), Rascal Flatts ("Hot in Here"), Kip Moore ("Beer Money" and "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck"), Jake Owen ("The One That Got Away"), Jason Aldean ("The Only Way I Know"), and Little Big Town ("Tornado").

This year's American Country Awards was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The musical performances kept the audience on their feet throughout the awarding ceremonies.
