Phillip Phillips' family reportedly is not getting help from the "American Idol" champion to pay off their debt. Phillips' dad is forced to put his family's 24-year-old business, Albany Sporting Goods and Pawn, in auction later this year to cover the expenses.

The family has reached out to Phillips for help but the words allegedly fell into deaf ears. They were hurt especially because they had spent a lot of money to travel and support the singer while he was still competing for "Idol".

Sources told TMZ that the pawn shop will go to an auction block by Pearson Auction Company on December 1 and the profits will be used to pay the debt. Phillips Sr. is hoping to get between $200,000 to $250,000 in the auction.

Phillips is yet to respond to the report. However, the auction has actually been revealed last month when the singer's father Donnie told local station WALB News, "It's kind of a give back thing. I just appreciate everybody ...for all they have done for us and the support they have given us."

Among the items listed on the auction, apart from the shop and its content, are signed guitars that Phillips played while growing up, tickets his parents used to attend "Idol" tapings each week, wooden turkey that Phillips carried around during his hometown visit and signed pictures.
