The Rolling Stones will be back on the road. To mark their 50th anniversary and to support their latest Greatest Hits album release, the rock band will play four concerts, two at London's O2 Arena and the other two at Newark's Prudential Center.

"Is everybody ready? Are you ready? Yeah, we're ready. You must have guessed this was coming," Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts said in video announcement recorded while they were in Paris. "Surely you didn't think we weren't gonna do this."

The London dates are set on November 25 and 29 while the Newark dates are set on December 13 and 15. The band may not be alone for they hinted that in all of the four shows, there will be a "few friends" joining them onstage. For this will be their first tour with the complete line-up in five years, they promised a "heart pumping celebration" in each of the shows.

The band have previously postponed a planned 50th anniversary tour to 2013. Commenting on it, Richards said in a statement, "Sorry to keep you all hanging around but the waiting is over. I've always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones. I'm here with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and everything is rocking. See you very soon!"

"GRRR!", which includes two new tracks from the Stones, will be released on November 13.
