The outdoor stage at the Rockefeller Center was packed with crowds last Wednesday, September 5, as a number of celebrities helped open the 2012 NFL season. "Heartbreaker" songstress Mariah Carey, and pop-rock band No Doubt were just some of the performers that night.

The newest "American Idol" judge started off with a pre-recorded video of her singing her latest song "Triumphant (Get 'Em)", while her collaborators Rick Ross and Meek Mill delivered their lines on stage. Halfway through the song, Nick Cannon's wife walked onto the stage wearing a glittery gold dress.

No Doubt, on the other hand, were on the stage since the beginning of their energetic performance of "Settle Down". Vocalist Gwen Stefani was wearing her signature low waist pants paired with a fit sleeveless black shirt while walking from one part of the stage to another, performing the track from their upcoming album "Push and Shove".

Meanwhile at the MetLife Stadium, Queen Latifah performed "Star Spangled Banner". The singer once delivered a rendition of the U.S. National Anthem at the Superbowl last year, but this time she was backed by the Jubilation Choir.

Latifah was wearing a blue 18 jersey, which prompted former Giant and recently waived Vikings quarterback Sage Rosenfels to tweet, "Why is Queen Latifah wearing my old Gmen jersey? She must be a fan too."

The match ended with the Cowboys beating the Giants with a score of 24-17.
