On behalf of the 'Home Alone' lead star, a representative calls the National Enquirer story 'impossibly and ridiculously fictitious.'

Contrary to the swirling rumor, Macaulay Culkin is not a drug addict. Through his representative, the "Home Alone" actor slams National Enquirer's report that suggested he was a "stone-cold street junkie" and "could be dead in six months" unless he entered rehab.
The rep says in a statement to the press, "The report in the National Enquirer that Macaulay Culkin is addicted to Heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious."
The publicist continues, "We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further."
Culkin, 31, sparked health scare last February when a picture of him looking shockingly thin emerged. His rep, however, insisted the actor was "in perfectly good health." The rep added, "To speculate otherwise is reckless, irresponsible and destructive. We implore them to discontinue the rumor."
