Movie

Jeremy Renner performs a death-defying stunt in a first clip for "The Bourne Legacy" which comes out via IGN. Hunted down by a number of cops in what looks like an Asian country, Renner shows off his parkour skill as he jumps from one rooftop to another. After seeing Rachel Weisz in danger of being caught by the police, he slides down into a narrow alley and fights the gun-wielding cops empty-handedly.

"Bourne Legacy" follows a new hero called Aaron Cross (Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. Further details about the movie are still kept under wraps, but Renner promised the fourth movie will be "bigger" and "more expansive" compared to its predecessors.

Renner recently discussed his character Cross with Empire magazine. "He's coming from a completely different background to Jason [Bourne]," said the 41-year-old actor. "He knows exactly who he is; he signed up to this... He wants to be part of a team. I can tell you he was in the military then he joined the program. He's a person who wants to be part of something... to have a sense of purpose. But then it's taken away."

"The Bourne Legacy" will make its way out onto cinemas nationwide on August 10.
