Katy Perry will make the upcoming premiere of her concert-documentary movie "Katy Perry: Part of Me" more special. According to MTV, the California-born singer will make a live performance on the Hollywood Boulevard, before she hits the red carpet rolled outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Tuesday, June 26.

Details of her upcoming special performance are still scarce, but the gig is likely to be a part of Pepsi and Billboard's "Summer Beats" live series which is scheduled to kick off in L.A. the same day. Billboard.com reports that the "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" hitmaker's performance will be live-streamed on Pepsi's Twitter page.

"Part of Me" will give a backstage pass, front row seat and intimate look at the fun, glamorous, heartbreaking, inspiring, crazy, magical, passionate, and honest mad diary of Perry. Set to open wide in theaters across the nation on July 5, the 3D movie is directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz.
