The fiancee of Liam Hemsworth is advised by the wife of Mike Fisher to 'take it easy,' 'be engaged for a while' and 'plan everything slow.'

It would be better for Miley Cyrus to have a long engagement with Liam Hemsworth instead of diving head first into marriage, so fellow singer Carrie Underwood said. The "American Idol" alum gave her advice to the teen songstress soon after learning about the engagement.
"My advice is just take it easy," the wife of ice hockey player Mike Fisher said as quoted by the Daily Star. "If you can be engaged for a while I'm sure that's really nice, plan everything slow and take your first couple of years just to really hang out together and enjoy it."
While Carrie gave Miley an advice, fellow star Bret Michaels sent the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus "a mega congratulations." He gushed, "[Miley's] one of the coolest people. She's a very talented person and I shout out a mega congratulations to her."
Talking about her fiance Liam, Bret had nothing but praise. "You can tell Liam he rocks and he's a good dude," he said. They shared a bonding experience during the recording sessions of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" duet for her studio album "Can't Be Tamed".
"I took him on an insane ride in the Bentley," he recounted. "I took him in the car and we whipped up and down the [Sunset] strip very fast...Liam and I took the car out and raced hell."
Miley met Liam when they were working as co-stars in 2009's "The Last Song". They dated on and off before the Aussie hunk popped the question to her on Wednesday, May 31. Before getting engaged to him, she was romantically linked to Nick Jonas, Justin Gaston and Joshua Bowman.
Explaining why their relationship worked, the "Last Song" producer Adam Shankman explained, "I'll tell you what's so great. That thing about opposites attract...Their fundamental core values are the same, but he's really mellow and she's really hyper. So it really works together."
Recalling the "Last Song" filming, he said, "I sort of want a finder's fee for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth...I remember that first day of shooting when they first kissed and Miley walked by my sister [Jennifer Gibgot] after they shot the kissing scene, [and] goes, 'This is gonna work'."
