Kristen Wiig was given a special send-off on the season finale of "Saturday Night Live". At the end of the show, host Mick Jagger played a principal to a high school graduation and announced that Wiig is "one particular student who is leaving this summer."

"Many of you are moving onto college, but I'd like to take a moment to say goodbye to one particular student who is leaving this summer ...to become a nun," Jagger said, calling Wiig up the stage and slow dancing with her.

One by one the rest of the "SNL" cast took turn to have different styles of dance with Wiig as the ensemble sang The Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow". Producer Lorne Michaels came at the end of the line before other "SNL" graduates and members such as Amy Poehler, Steve Martin and Jon Hamm joined the lots in Stones' "Ruby Tuesday".

Wiig, who appeared to hold back tears during the send-off, has been with the show for seven years. She has made famous such characters as Penelope, Gilly, and Kat of the singing duo Graham and Kat. Wiig is looking ahead of her acting career, having starred in the Oscar-nominated "Bridesmaids".

It is yet clear whether long-time cast Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis will join Wiig to graduate from the show soon.
