Harry Shum Jr. has a unique way to celebrate his 30th birthday. Instead of throwing a big party, the Mike Chang of "Glee" took a group of his friends on an adventure high above the treetops over the San Gabriel Mountains. He and his pals went ziplining at Navitat Canopy Adventures in Wrightwood, California.

Sharing the weekend fun, the "Step Up 3-D" actor, who actually turned 30 on April 28, posted on his Twitter two photos of him and his group before the action. Along with the pictures, he wrote, "Zip-lining was epic to the max! Thanks to the tour guides and @navitatca. Let the good times zip!" and "Party bus to zip-lining! Thanks @groundlink for the lift!"

Among those joining Shum Jr. for some fun in the treetops were some of his "Glee" co-stars, Darren Criss, Dianna Agron and Vanessa Lengies. Agron, in particular, tweeted, "Hey remember when we went ziplining through the forest? Oh yeah. That was awesome," and "It's never good when you hear, 'Just so you know, this is a HIGH risk activity.' BUT. We lived. We had SO much fun. We conquered."
