"The Voice" coach Cee-Lo Green is the latest addition to 2012 Billboard Music Awards. The singer personally announced that he is to join Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Carrie Underwood and LMFAO in the list of performers for the event held on May 20 at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas.

Green, who is nominated for Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Song, was also a performer at last year's ceremony and he made his mark. He played a medley of his hits with a piano that floated above the stage and rotated upside down while he's still attached.

Also announced during the press release on Friday, April 27 at Caesars Palace, L.V., were the finalists in 46 categories. Adele leads the pack as finalist in 18 award categories.

This year's event will be aired live by ABC at 8 P.M. ET and hosted by "Modern Family" stars Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell.
