Arnold Schwarzenegger could be reunited with his brother in 1988's "Twins", Danny DeVito, in a possible sequel movie. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Universal Pictures is hoping to develop a follow-up film to the hit comedy that will be titled "Triplets".

Words are, in the upcoming film, Schwarzenegger's Julius and DeVito's Vincent will discover that they actually have a third sibling. It was said that in the new scenario, the third brother will be portrayed by none other than comedian Eddie Murphy.

Currently still in the early phase of production, "Triplets" is still looking for a writer and also hasn't tapped a director. Though so, it was confirmed that Ivan Reitman, who directed the original film, will be on board as the co-producer along with Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell.

"Twins", which follows Julius and Vincent Benedict as unlikely twins who were separated at birth, grossed $216,6 million worldwide in 1988. That was a massive result given the fact that the comedy was made with a mere $15 million budget.

In addition to the "Twins" sequel, Universal is currently working on a follow-up for another of its 1988 films. The studio is developing "Midnight Rose" sequel, which will bring back Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin as Jack and Jonathan respectively. The project is set to be directed by "Tower Heist" helmer Brett Ratner.
