Contrary to recent tabloid claim, Ray J is not in possession of explicit photos or videos featuring him and the late Whitney Houston. Courtney Barnes, a representative for the younger brother of Brandy, was quick to come out with a denying statement, calling rumors of the sex tapes "despicable."

"The despicable tabloid report released today claiming the existence of a sex tape between Ray J and Whitney Houston is not true," Barnes told E! News. "This story along with so many others have been released to sell magazines." Ray's representative further stressed, "There is no sex tape or explicit photos."

Report that Ray has "a ton of sexually explicit photos and videos" of himself and the "I Will Always Love You" hitmaker was brought to attention by Star magazine. The tabloid claimed to have been informed that the Houston family has "been in contact with Ray and told him they do not want any photos or videos painting her in a bad light to come out."

According to the tabloid, the Houston family further "explained to Ray that now is the time to honor Whitney, not drag her legacy down." It was additionally noted that the former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian is holding onto the photos and videos "because he knows he's sitting on a gold mine."

Houston passed away on February 11 after she was found underwater and unconscious in bathtub of the Beverly Hills hotel. A day before her funeral, Ray released a statement expressing his grief. "Over the past few days, I've tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing. What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words," he said.

The 31-year-old, whose sex tape with Kardashian was leaked in 2007, continued on, "The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend. Nippy, I miss you so much! You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever."
