Amanda Seyfried Hunts Down Phantom Killer in First 'Gone' Trailer

The 'In Time' actress plays Jill, a girl who wants to save her sister from a serial killer whom she believes is the same person who kidnapped her two years before.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Seyfried is freaked out by a phantom serial killer in the first trailer for "Gone". Coming out via Yahoo! Movies, the fresh sneak-peek video gives a look at some intense scenes as Seyfried tries to find a way to combat her sister's kidnapper, who is unseen and unidentified.

In the movie, Seyfried plays female lead Jill Parish. As Jill returns home from the night shift, she finds that her sister's bed is empty. She believes that her sister is abducted by a serial killer who kidnapped her two years before.

Jill is convinced that the killer comes back to spread terror in her life. However, the police do not believe in her confession and thinks that she's mentally depressed. As she knows the time is running out, Jill sets off to find her beloved sister and face the killer once and for all.

To arrive in theaters nationwide on February 24, 2012, "Gone" is directed by Heitor Dhalia with Allison Burnett penning the script. Joining the "In Time" actress, Seyfried, in the cast ensemble are Jennifer Carpenter, Wes Bentley, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Sunjata and Joel David Moore.
