Beside squeezing Adele's songs "Rumour Has It" and "Someone Like You" into one mash-up song, "Glee" cast have also blended Lady GaGa's "You and I" with another song of the same title which is performed by Eddie Rabbitt and Crystal Gayle.

The mash-up of the 2011 single and the 1982 track is recorded by New Directions coach Mr. Schuester who is played by Matthew Morrison, and his rival coach Shelby Corcoran who is tackled by Idina Menzel. It's going to be featured in upcoming episode titled "Mash Off".

In the November 15 episode, Sue starts a smear campaign to take down her biggest competitor for the Congressional seat. Puck (Mark Salling) proclaims his love to Shelby, and the two McKinley High glee clubs are encouraged to have some friendly competitions by their coaches.

"Hot for Teacher", a cover of Van Halen's 1984 rock song, will serve as an anthem for Puck. The Adele mash-up, meanwhile, belongs to Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera). Those songs are made available for stream on the official "Glee" music website along with two other mash-ups.
