The clip, which sees the 'Kiss Me Thru the Phone' rapper spitting his verse while lounging inside his bedroom, is made in support of a song from his upcoming independent album, 'Skate Boy'.

AceShowbiz - Soulja Boy has brought out a brand new music video for "Tear It Up". More than three minutes long, the fresh clip is made in a home video style. It simply features the 21-year-old rapper spitting his verse while lounging on a chair inside his bedroom and playing with his iPhone.

"Tear It Up" comes from his upcoming independent album,"Skate Boy (Deluxe Edition)", that will be released in stores across the United States on Tuesday, November 1. Aside from this song, the mixtape also includes a track about his controversial military comments and a remix of Drake's "Headlines".

"Skate Boy (Deluxe Edition)" is set to come out before Soulja puts out his highly anticipated 4th studio album in early 2012. In a recent interview with Billboard, he revealed several collaborations he has prepared for the effort. "Me and Drizzy," he said. "We definitely going to drop something. Definitely Busta Rhymes, Lil B."

When speaking of competitors, he pointed out, "I mean there's artists out there, but its like, shit got dry in the last few years. N***as be trying to sound like me and shit. I listen to a hit, its like 'Okay it's a hit, but it sounds like me.' Every time I do something they copy it. I mean its cool, it makes me bigger and shit. But it's just like... Once you do so much copying, I can't do me then."
