Brad Pitt isn't shy about admitting that he feels the pressure to tie the knot with longtime partner Angelina Jolie from his children. The actor who plays an abusive father in "The Tree of Life" talked about family life when visiting "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for an interview to air Thursday, September 22.

The marriage talk was first brought up by host Ellen DeGeneres as she mentioned the condition Brad and Angie set for them to get married. Asked to remind people about the couple's term, the actor dished, "I've said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this county had the right to get married."

"We live in this great country that is about freedom," he further elaborated. "It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that's not what we're about. That's not what makes us great. Until that is reversed. I just don't get it. It make no sense to me [in an Italian accent]."

Ellen then suggested that it seems to be the right thing to do if he and Angie got married the very next day after it's legal for everyone to get married. In his response, the actor voiced his agreement and noted, "The kids are putting on the heat. They really are. They are putting on the heat." Still, he added, "I don't know what the future holds."

During the chat, Ellen also asked Brad to describe the mornings at his house with 6 children around. "Did you ever see the movie [One Flew Over] the Cuckoo's Nest? That's morning time in our house...Cheswick screaming for a cigarette, someone's doing ballet over there and on it goes," the "Inglourious Basterds" star answered.

Asked how he keeps his romance with Angie alive, the ex-husband of Jennifer Aniston opened up that they find their time. "We carve out Mommy, Daddy time," he shared. "It's called a hotel." The actor went on to point out the necessary, "You got to get out of this house. You got to leave."
