Just hours after Charlie Sheen raised people's hope that he will return to "Two and a Half Men", his statement has been denied. TMZ, which has previously reported there is "no chance" for the actor to get his job back, learns from sources connected to the production that the actor will never be invited back.

The sources also deny that CBS honcho Les Moonves has urged Warner Bros. to have Charlie back, saying the report is "absolutely false." Moreover, the sources claim it was the 45-year-old who pleaded to the bosses to get his job back, but WB "has closed the book on" him.

Charlie hinted that it is very likely to see him on "Two and a Half Men" again after saying on Sports Hub 98.5 WBZ-FM on Tuesday night, April 12, "There's been discussions, but I was asked not to divulge anything." He claimed that his chance to return to the show is "85-percent."

Showing remorse and a humble attitude, he stated, "Had they told me at the end of Season 8 that that behavior wasn't going to be cool, I would have adjusted it."

But surprisingly, Charlie also brought up the issue of his unpaid portion of the syndication profits from the TV series. "I'm supposed to [be receiving the money], but that's - what's the term? - being withheld," he opened up, before adding "They can't [justify withholding payment], that's why I'm suing them."
