The housemates are going to shoot the pilot in Long Island this week and then proceed with the fourth season filming mid-year.

DJ Pauly D was the first to get a "Jersey Shore" spin-off, and Snooki is next. Reports are swirling that the pint-size guidette is going to shoot the pilot this weekend and she is not going to be alone. BFF JWoww will also be prominently featured in this new project which is yet to have a title.

TMZ's sources pointed out that the pilot is shot in Long Island. "There's no special hook - it's just JWOWW and Snooki being themselves," the entertainment website said.

Snooki and JWoww are housemates. JWoww said back in October, "We'd love to do [a spin-off] but nothing is confirmed. We are moving into together, though. She wants to get out of her house, I no longer like my house, so what better thing to do than move in together?"

The pilot is probably rushed to meet the schedule for "Jersey Shore" season 4 filming. Hollywood Life reported MTV has told the cast members to reserve a slot in May 2011 to begin a new chapter of the series. MTV is yet to announce if there is a fourth season indeed but the weekly ratings which beat ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" point out to a renewal.
