Vera Farmiga and David Duchovny are surely not herdsmen but they are going to team up to herd "Goats". The two are set to appear in the indie drama comedy that has all-star cast ensemble consisting of Keri Russell, Will Arnett, Minnie Driver, Ty Burrell and Graham Phillips.

This movie adaptation of Mark Jude Poirier's novel of the same name revolves around Phillips' Ellis who decides to move away from his mother (Farmiga) and his mentor known as Goat Man (Duchovny) to attend an East Coast prep school where his father (Burrell) was a well-regarded student.

When returning home from his first term, Ellis realizes that his relationship with the goat-raising figure has changed forever. Arnett will be seen as Farmiga's on-screen new lover while Russell is Ellis' father's new wife.

Mark Jude Poirier adapts his own book into a script and Christopher Neil is hired to direct it. "Goats" will be a directorial debut of acting coach Neil. Production for the film is expected to be kicked off in February.
