Meg Ryan has secretly dated actor/singer John Mellencamp following his separation from his wife of 18 years. The couple allegedly has been spotted together in various locations on Martha's Vineyard and in New York City, including enjoying coffee at Espresso Love and grocery shopping at Gourmet Garage.
"She usually comes in by herself or with her daughter. I thought that was her husband because they seemed for comfortable and familiar with each other, just like an old married couple," a witness testified to People about one of their dates.
Meg and John are rumored to have started seeing each other about seven weeks ago. Although John seemed to announce his separation from his wife Elaine just last week, the publication mentioned he actually had split from her "for some time before that."
John has two sons, Hud and Speck, with Elaine, and three other children from previous relationship. As for Meg, she previously tied the knot with Dennis Quaid and called it quits in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have a son, Jack Henry, who is 18. She also has an adopted daughter, Daisy True, who is 6 years old.
