Latino Review has got its hand on three official pictures of "Colombiana". All of them expose Zoe Saldana's Cataleya Restrepo, who apparently will stay sexy despite her tough job as a professional assassin.
Cataleya witnessed the brutal murder of her parents by a Colombian drug lord Don Luis while she was 10 years old. She manages to escape the bullets of the assassin and reach Chicago, where her uncle Emilio, also a gangster, lives.
Emilio is doing its best to remove Cataleya from the criminal life, but she is determined to become a professional killer. At 25, Cataleya has become a real killer operating on behalf of her uncle, Emilio. But her sole desire is to find Don Luis to avenge the death of her parents.
Directed by Olivier Megaton with the script written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, "Colombiana" is scheduled to open wide in U.S. cinemas on September 2, 2011. Michael Vartan, Jordi Molla, Lennie James and Sam Douglas join Saldana in the cast ensemble of the action thriller.
