Spy series "Chuck" will celebrate Halloween in its own style next week. Beside tapping "Nightmare on Elm Street" films star Robert Englund to guest star as Dr. Stanley Wheelright, the October 25 episode called "Chuck vs. the Aisle of Terror" will also be about a shocking murder.
When Chuck, Sarah, Casey, and Morgan are tasked to stop Dr. Stanley Wheelright from releasing a nightmare-inducing toxin, they're also led to question the allegiances of Chuck's mom. This would be the episode where Chuck meets his mom in person to demand the answers to why she left when he was 9-year-old.
Meanwhile, Jeff and Lester use their unique sensibilities to celebrate Halloween at the Buy More, and Ellie and Awesome get a visit from Dr. Honey Woodcomb (guest star Morgan Fairchild).
On another news, EW reported that NBC is due to give "Chuck" a full-season order soon but a rep for the network refused to comment. "Chuck" is doing moderately this season with 3.1 rating/5 share. But creator Josh Schwartz said the execs are pleased with the show in a different way. "NBC is really happy with it creatively. This is Chuck. We never say die," he said.
