Linda Hamilton as Mama Bartowksy has been previewed previously in a quick glimpse when the season 4 promo of "Chuck" was released. NBC has now provided the stills which give a closer look to the centric character in the new season, revealing at the same time that Mary Elizabeth Bartowski has the skill to handle guns.
As the exec producers have mentioned before, the first half of the new season would focus on Chuck's search for his long-lost mom. However, Chuck meets an obstacle by the name of Harry Dean Stanton. "Harry will play Harry Dean, the man who comes between Chuck and his search for Mom. Who is he exactly? Well, we'll say this: Only Harry Dean Stanton could play this part," creator Chris Fedak said.
Beside the close shots of Mary, the stills reveal more scenes involving guest star Olivia Munn who plays CIA agent Greta. This character is a master of disguise whose base is in Buy More and who will take different shapes every episode.
"Chuck" premieres on Monday, September 20 on NBC.
