It is time for "True Blood" to wrap up the mystery again. The vampire series will return in two weeks time on Sunday, September 12 and air the third season finale called "Evil Is Going On". If the preview is to be seen in raw, the episode will feature season 1's villain Rene Lenier coming back to Bon Temps from his grave.

According to the synopsis from HBO, Eric plots his revenge against Russell and Sookie considers a new life without Bill. Tara discovers some surprising news about Sam while Jason finds a new calling. Lafayette turns to Jesus for help and Hoyt hopes for a future with Jessica.

"In episode 12, the final episode," Denis O'Hare talks about Russell in the finale, "I was encumbered with a lot of stuff, and it made the shooting process incredibly difficult. I had to do a lot of physical stunts. I love doing my own stunts, [but] it was a lot more than I thought I would do. And then I had a lot of makeup. The make-up was heavy-duty, two and a half hours in, two and a half hours out."

Beside the preview, HBO has also released an In Memoriam feature from the show. It includes a tribute to all the dead ones including minor characters such as Maudette and Gabe the Drill Instructor to the prominent ones such as Maryann and the Magistrate. Rene is also listed in the tribute despite appearing in the latest promo.
