"Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" is set to visit 2010 San Diego Comic Con International on Thursday evening, July 22 but a new clip from the movie has made its way out a day earlier. An exclusive courtesy of MTV Splash Page, the snippet sees Scott who has an awkward moment with Ramona as his ex-girlfriend Knives steals a kiss from him in front of his new love interest.

Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic book series entitled "Scott Pilgrim", the film follows jobless Scott Pilgrim who falls in love with Ramona Flowers. Never having problems of getting a girlfriend before, this time the young slacker finds out that he must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends to win his true love.

Michael Cera takes the title role with Mary Elizabeth Winstead portraying Ramona. Anna Kendrick joins the cast as Scott's sister, while Chris Evans stars as one of Ramona's evil exes. Edgar Wright serves as helmer for the upcoming live action film in addition to writing the script with Michael Bacall. The action comedy will open wide in U.S. cinemas on August 13.
