First Showing has got its hand on a new poster for "Rango", revealing the title character that has Johnny Depp providing the voice. The photo captures a chameleon with a very thin neck wearing a flowery shirt and standing with a background of what looks like a desert.
Earlier June, a teaser trailer for the film has been released but it does not give much explanation about the plot. So far, it is only known that the story focuses on the chameleon having an identity crisis which goes on an adventure to discover its true self. Some other characters from the movie can be seen at the official site, RangoMovie.com.
Beside Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin and Bill Nighy are also among the cast ensemble for the animation. Gore Verbinski directs this comedy movie which will be distributed by Paramount Pictures on March 4, 2011. A new teaser trailer for the film will be launched on June 29.
