"Up in the Air" actress Vera Farmiga is with a child. The Oscar nominee is expecting baby number 2 with musician husband Renn Hawkey whom she married in September 2008. The couple has had one son together, Finn, who was born January last year.

The pregnancy news was first reported by In Touch Weekly which noted that the actress was supposed to play the wife of Gerard Butler in "Machine Gun Preacher" but has to pull out due to her pregnancy. "She is three months pregnant and due in October," an insider told In Touch. "The role would have meant traveling to Africa this summer, but because her baby is due in the fall, she would have been too far along to make the trip."

Farmiga starred opposite George Clooney in "Up in the Air", the movie which gave her a nomination as Best Supporting Performance by an Actress at the 67th Annual Golden Globes. However, Mo'Nique went home with the price for her portrayal as an abusive mother in "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire".
