The "American Idol" finalist, who finished fourth at the singing competition's seventh season, proposed to Mandy just prior to the kick-off of the Oklahoma/Kansas State football game on Saturday, October 31 in Norman, OK, reports the site.

Jason and Mandy are said to have been dating since 2008, but have known each other since high school. The twosome dressed as Beauty and the Beast on Halloween. He got down on his knees when he proposed to her and presented her with a ring. Besides, the singer also carved "Marry Me?" into a pumpkin.

Jason's management has confirmed the engagement news, but no single word has been outed by the star himself.

Personal life aside, Jason Castro has recently premiered the music video of his single "Let's Just Fall In Love Again". The song is the lead track of his debut album, which reportedly is an eponymous and is slated to be released in January next year.
