After a week of war of words, Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman reportedly have broken up. "Extra" brings the story to public's notice, citing an insider as saying "They're taking a break", adding that the separation may not be permanent.
Hailey, the daughter of Jon's estranged wife Kate Gosselin's plastic surgeon, publicly revealed earlier this week that she felt "emotionally abused" by Jon and that he is prone to "mantrums." "I don't know why I love him," she confessed.
It was shortly thereafter that Jon made public his intention to seek spiritual counseling from Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. To the press he admitted he got "carried away by the challenges of fame" and is eager to reconnect with his "deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self."
Affirming the report by "Extra", another source has revealed to Us Weekly, "They broke up the day she did that interview. She told me it was gonna be over. She was just waiting to let him go." As of the press time, there hasn't been confirmation or denial made by either Jon or Hailey.
Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman began dating after he split from wife Kate Gosselin earlier this year. Jon and Kate, who got married in June 1999, are parents to 8 children. They and their children embraced their fame after having their daily life taped for hit TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8".
