There is a chance that Kelly Rowland will release her new album via EMI Music as a record deal has been in the works.

After leaving Columbia Records in March this year, the former member of Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland, is rumored to work on a new deal with EMI Music. Bringing the news to surface is singer/producer Rico Love.

"I believe she's doing her deal right now. She's in the process of closing a pretty big deal," Rico told Rap-Up. "I don't think she's going to say yet. She's got the No. 1 song in the world with David Guetta 'When Love Takes Over'."

Aside from spilling the beans about Kelly's still-in-negotiations deal, Rico also talked about her upcoming solo studio album. "I'm actually going to be doing the majority of her record," he stated. "I believe we're going to finish the album over the Christmas break."

Beside working on a new deal and making music for a new album, Kelly Rowland recently was snapped hanging out with 50 Cent. She filmed a music video for his single "Baby by Me", landing the part as his love interest.
