John Mayer becomes the first musician who applies such technology for his 'Heartbreak Warfare' music video, giving fans a 3-D experience.

After premiering "Who Says" music video earlier this month, John Mayer releases another music video to support his single called "Heartbreak Warfare". The video uses an augmented reality technology which allows viewers to watch it in 3-D.

"It's very exciting. It's a completely 3-D, immersive experience you have," John previously told Wired from the set of the video shoot. "It's moving from this very casual guy in the room, to the middle of the song, where I transition to being on a battlefield."

"In keeping with the 'Heartbreak Warfare' battlefield theme, I end up entering this really cool, otherworldly universe of falling bombs, bright colors and things just stemming and growing and blossoming and blooming..."

"I'll be the first musician to do a video centered around this new technology," he continued. "I won't be the twelfth, like I used to be." Fans can download a printable icon from John Mayer's official website and follow the instruction to make this 3-D experience work.

"Heartbreak Warfare" is taken from John Mayer's November 17 release "Battle Studies".
