First taste on how Britt Reid will look like in his Green Hornet costume in "The Green Hornet" has been shared. Splash News has posted a video from the set of the masked vigilante adaptation which contains a brief glimpse at Green Hornet's costume. It isn't clear whether the man behind the costume is Seth Rogen or his stunt double.

Aside from exposing first look at the vigilante's costume, the video also displays some on-set explosions. A peek at Kato in his crime-fighting costume is also available to view. The footage from the set can be enjoyed via Splash News.

Rogen's co-star Edward James Olmos opened up earlier to Los Angeles Times that he will play Michael Axford, a reporter for the Daily Sentinel who works together with Britt Reid's father James. "We're the backbone of the paper," he said. "Things go awry, and I end up having to try to sustain what's going on in our lives. And of course the Green Hornet doesn't make it any easier. I don't want to give anything away."

"The Green Hornet" is an adaptation of WXYZ's radio show created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker. Penned by Rogen and his writing partner in "Knocked Up", Evan Goldberg, it centers on Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day and masked vigilante Green Hornet by night, and his adventures in fighting crimes. Cameron Diaz and Jay Chou co-star.

The production has been hit with several mishaps. In early September, a car chase scene went awry, resulting in the Black Beauty car crashing into the front of the Creative Artists Agency's headquarters. Following that, the Los Angeles set got a bomb scare Tuesday, September 29 as crew members found an unidentified metal object in the parking lot. December 22, 2010 will be the date it is opened wide in U.S. theaters.
