Kari Ann Peniche, who set tongue wagging with the leak of her threesome tape with actor Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart, broke her silence about the scandal and told TMZ that contrary to Internet reports she didn't have sex with the actor. According to the former Miss Teen USA, the video was taped more than two years ago in her apartment.

Insisting there was no sex involved, Kari claimed she, Eric, and Rebecca "played dress up" before she and Rebecca then soaked together in a bathtub as Eric called "action" behind the camera. Kari subsequently stored the tape on the hard drive of her computer, but her roommate Mindy McCready stole it.

Kari said she believes Mindy stole her hard drive before leaving their apartment after they got involved in an argument over money. Fearing that her certain personal information on the hard drive might be leaked, Kari decided to file a stolen property report with the LAPD.

Moreover, Kari told TMZ that last month she, Eric, Rebecca, and Mindy had their representatives reaching a deal, in which it was ruled that Eric got the full rights to the video. Now that the footage has been leaked, it is widely assumed that one of the four people has broken the rule.

At the time of writing, there has been no word on who leak the tape, which was first unleashed by Gawker.com. The original version of the threesome video is promised to be made public via Fleshbot.com on Tuesday morning, August 18.
