Already spotted going out and about after her much publicized break-up from Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson apparently still finds it hard to deal with her heartache as she is said planning to take a six months break from men. In between time, she will focus simply on self "inner growth."

"She needs time to clear her head, so she's putting dating on the back burner," a source tells National Enquirer of the actress-singer who was dumped by football quarterback Tony on the eve of her 29th birthday. "Jess knows she's overly needy and tends to define herself by the men she's with," adds the source.

A friend of Jessica then chimes in, "She's refusing to be set up, she doesn't want to date, and she's definitely avoiding meaningless hookups. Jessica wants to figure out what she does to repel men and fix it ..... She's hoping that with a period of introspection, she'll be able to bounce back stronger and find her true Mr. Right."

Hot on the heels of her separation from Tony Romo earlier this month, Jessica Simspon is bouncing back under the spotlight with the unveiling of her new fragrance called "Fancy Love" earlier this week. In the meantime, she is also working on a new TV documentary series, titled "The Price of Beauty".
