Farrah Fawcett, who passed away last month after losing her battle against anal cancer, reportedly has left all her fortune to Redmond James O'Neal, her son with longtime partner Ryan O'Neal. She is said leaving the majority of her $5.5 million estate to 24-year-old Redmond, who has long battled addiction and is currently being held behind bars on drugs charges.
According to reports, Farrah updated her will back in 2007, shortly after she was told her cancer had spread to her liver. In it, she appointed two executors to give Redmond a monthly allowance and funds to buy his own home. Besides, she also requested that Redmond's inheritance be placed in a trust fund.
"Farrah appointed two trustees to make sure the money supports her son's journey into sobriety rather than giving him the means to destroy himself. Redmond's inheritance will be tightly controlled," a source has been quoted as saying.
Excluding Ryan from her will despite the fact that he's been very supportive of her during her last days battling cancer, Farrah is claimed to have also left a portion of her money to Texas University. There has been no single comment made by Ryan regarding the matter.
Farrah Fawcett passed away on June 25. She was 62. She and Ryan enjoyed a 15-year relationship which ended in 1997. The pair, however, reunited shortly after she was diagnosed with anal cancer back in 2006.
