Named the Hottest Bachelor of the year by People magazine "feels pretty surreal," Chace Crawford told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show on Thursday morning, June 18. "It's such a big deal. It's funny I didn't really realize how massive [it] was going to be," the actor added.
To Ryan, Chace admitted he actually learned early on that he was ranked 1st on People's 10th annual list of Sexy & Single Men of 2009, but decided to keep it private. "I told my parents and that's about it," he stated.
His friends, Chace claimed, found out about the matter shortly thereafter. "Me and my friends are flipping through and Access Hollywood, they're like x-ing out the other guys. When they're x-ing out [George] Clooney, that's when it hit me," the "Gossip Girl" star recalled.
Also opening up about his upcoming movie project, Chace told Ryan he is excited about the much awaited "Footloose," though he is required to do lots of exercise due to his role's physical demands. "I've started prep for that and I'm extremely sore," he said before then elaborating, "I've been training four days, but I'm extremely sore ..... It's really intense. We're getting the gymnastics and doing some workouts. I'm learning some basic moves. I've got a little rhythm. I'm realizing everyday how much of all the nine months [of prep] I'm going to need."
