Lil Wayne claims Rebel Rock Productions Inc. is the one which should be responsible for any necessary licensing agreements of his single 'I Feel Like Dying', which allegedly contains illegal sample.

Rapper Lil Wayne has filed a legal document against Rebel Rock Productions Inc. In the lawsuit, he claims the company producing his single "I Feel Like Dying" is responsible for obtaining any necessary licensing agreements for the song's sample, which is allegedly taken from Karma-Ann Swanepoel's track "Once".
Rebel Rock offers no comment concerning Weezy's accusation. As of press time, no lawyer is hired just yet to defend them in the court. A telephone number listed for the company has been disconnected as well, according to Associated Press.
Weezy was sued over copyright infringement for allegedly taking an illegal sample from Karma-Ann's song for his own single. Most recently, Weezy was ordered to hand in "financial records for his Grammy-winning album 'Tha Carter III'" to Urband & Lazar Music Publishing, which published Karma-Ann's song.
Though Weezy's track, which becomes the subject of the lawsuit, is not listed in "Tha Carter III", lawyers for Karma-Ann insisted that the album has connection with the song. They argued Weezy had used the song to promote the album by performing it during his concerts.
In related news, a rep for Lil Wayne's label, Universal Motown, explained the reason why the rapper's new album "REBIRTH" was held back from June 16 to June 23. The representative said the pushback is required due to "sample clearance issues and the label's wish to release 'Rebirth' on the same day as the debut album from Weezy's Young Money crew."
