Celebrity

According to Kristen Stewart half of "Twilight" female fans are jealous that she is romantically linked with Robert Pattinson on screen and so they often hound her.

"Twilight" leading lady Kristen Stewart has found out that becoming a household name is not always fun, claiming fans of the vampire drama flick, especially females, often scare her. "Girls are scary. Large groups of girls scare the (crap) out of me. They covet him [Robert Pattinson]. I think half of them are so jealous that they hate me," she tells USA Today in an interview to promote her new flick, "Adventureland."

Kristen then gives an obvious example, saying "If those type of girls saw me talking about Twilight, you don't understand. If I said 'Jacob' too loud, they'd be like..." while making her eyes wide and sticking her hands out like claws. "More than three girls of that certain age - run away," she opens up about how she avoids being mobbed by female fans.

On fans romantically linking her to co-star Robert and how it affects her relationship with actor boyfriend Michael Angarano, Kristen reveals, "It doesn't make my relationship harder. It's not like, 'Maybe I should be with (Pattinson) to make them happy and it'll make me more popular!' [Michael] is totally not a threatened guy. But, dude, it sucks."

Making further comment about the many circulating rumors concerning her life, personally and professionally, Kristen shares to USA Today, "You're so connected to people and they all know how to get to you, and everyone knows who you are, so explicitly. They think they know you. It's like, 'You really think you know me? I don't know me! How do you know I'm not different around someone else?'" On top of all she concludes, "It almost makes the secrets more important, those few things you actually do choose to keep to yourself."
