Independent drama film "Greta" has just got its trailer. Nearly three minutes long, the sneak peek into the forthcoming movie centers on Greta, her decision of killing herself and her journey to discover how her actions impact those around her. The trailer also displays the interracial teen romance between Greta and Evan Ross' Julie.
A bright, beautiful and seriously rebellious 17-year-old, Greta is full of sarcastic wit that barely disguises the hurt inside. Shipped off to her grandparents in New Jersey for the summer, she quickly displays her upset feeling by telling them her intention to kill herself before the summer is over. But a near catastrophe gives Greta a wake-up call and demonstrates how deeply her own actions impact those around her.
Starring Hilary Duff as the titular character, "Greta" is supported by Ellen Burstyn, Evan Ross, Michael Murphy and Melissa Leo. Though no official release date has been set for this Whitewater Films movie, it has been announced that a special advance screening will be held on Thursday evening, April 2 at the Landmark Theaters in Westwood, California.
