New Line Cinema have thrown out a Los Angeles premiere for "Friday the 13th" on Monday, February 9. Making use of Grauman's Chinese Theater as the place for the special screening, the studio made the event unique with the installment of black carpet instead of the usual red carpet in front of the theater.

With the dark setting, the special screening event was topped with the attendance of producer Michael Bay and some of the film's cast ensemble. The cast spotted strolling down the specially-designed carpet included Jared Padalecki, Amanda Righetti, Danielle Panabaker, Willa Ford and Ryan Hansen.

Though the screening was not flooded with numerous Hollywood stars, it still saw a handful of the Tinseltown's celebs. "Fast and Furious" beauty Jordana Brewster, Disney star Brenda Song, "The Uninvited" leading actress Arielle Kebbel and horror film creator Wes Craven were among the celebrity guests seen.

Taking the story to where it all started, "Friday the 13th" follows Clay whose search for missing sister leads him to the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake. Going against the advice and cautions of local police and aided with the help from a young woman he meets along the way, he pursues what few leads he has.

But, those coming near the Crystal Lake are about to find out the terror hidden under the bush as they enter the place haunted by the infamous killer with razor-sharp machete. Directed by Marcus Nispel from the script written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the remake to the Sean S. Cunningham's 1980 horror classic will let out the terror in the big screen across the U.S. this coming Friday, February 13.
