Sean "P. Diddy" Comb is offering free safe-home rides for New Yorkers on new year's eve. The rap mogul and Ciroc premium vodka team up with New York's Taxi & Limousine Commission to distribute $15 debit cards that can be used for single taxi ride.

"New York is the world's most iconic New Year's Eve city," Diddy explained to New York Daily News concerning his decision to pay the cabs' fare. "So let's lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn't just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely."

The debit cards will be handed out by Ciroc street teams in Times Square and in Chelsea's nightclub areas beginning at 11 P.M. on Wednesday night. The offer will expire either until 3 A.M. or until the supply runs out.

Previously, P. Diddy revealed that he would give $1 million to re-design the iconic Waterford Crystal New Year's Eve ball with a shade of blue to match his Vodka brand. "Having this iconic blue stone sit atop the New York skyline on New Year's Eve is my way of wishing New York a fruitful New Year," he said at that time.
