In companion to her saucy poses for some pictures featured on Maxim's January 2009 issue, Hilary Duff also discusses with the magazine such major issues like her virginity and the false media stories about her. Besides, she also breaks her silence on her love relationship with boyfriend Mike Comrie.

"You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that," the former teen actress tells Maxim when referring to a published 2006 interview with Elle, which quoted her as saying "It's harder having a boyfriend who's older because people just assume. But [virginity] is definitely something I like about myself. It doesn't mean I haven't thought about sex, because everyone I know has had it and you want to fit in." Refusing to discuss the issue further, she insists, "That's nobody's business but my own."

No explanation has been given by Hilary's people on why she waits two years to set the record straight on Elle's quote of her saying. The actress-singer then goes on dishing to Maxim on some of the other stories written about her, stating "I've been accused by the press of giving lap dances at clubs. I mean, little ol' me? And they're so descriptive about these lap dances. I don't even know how to do a lap dance!"

Relating that matter to her getting sexy in the music video of single "Reach Out" off her greatest hits album "Best of Hilary Duff", Hilary explains, "I was ready to do something different. The intent was not to be overtly sexual; I'm not naked. I do have little shorts on in it." On rumors claiming she is engaged to Mike, she comments, "I'm a relationship person. Now it's all over the Internet that I'm getting engaged to my boyfriend. The truth is, I just like to wear rings!"

The January 2009 issue of Maxim, which features Hilary Duff on its cover and some pictures inside, plus her tell-all interview will hit the newsstands next Tuesday, December 23.
