On October 21, fans will be treated with exclusive never-before-seen footage of "Watchmen" and "Friday the 13th" at the Third Annual Scream Awards, "Scream 2008". The exciting news was revealed by Spike TV on Tuesday, October 14, through the press release on the honoring of Anthony Hopkins as the recipient of the first-ever Legend Award.

Beside uncovering the world premiere of the footage from the two Warner Bros. highly anticipated movies, the network also came out with more names for the presenters, including Malin Akerman, Selma Blair, Milla Jovovich, Jaime King, Paz Vega, filmmaker Frank Miller, director Jon Favreau, and Michael C. Hall and the cast of "Dexter". Additionally, The Smashing Pumpkins and Kerli have been appointed to be the performers, Pumpkins with their new hit "G.L.O.W." and Kerli with "Walking On Air".

All of those stars will be joining the previously-announced talent, Kristen Bell, Julie Benz, Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau, Samuel L. Jackson, Doug Jones, The Osbournes, Jared Padelecki, Ron Perlman, Amanda Righetti, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, Kevin Smith, Liv Tyler, Gerard Way, comic artist Stan Lee, director Guillermo Del Toro, director Darren Lynn Bousman and director Rob Zombie.

The award show will be taped on Saturday, October 18 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, while the event itself will be aired on Spike TV at 9:00-11:00 P.M. ET/PT three days later on Tuesday, October 21. The voting line has been opened from September 12 and remains open until October 17. Meanwhile, the full list nominees of "Scream 2008" have been unraveled on Wednesday, September 10, and "The Dark Knight" has led the pack with an astounding 21 nominations.
